Who it's for

For leaders who carry a great deal — and want to carry it differently.

You've built something real. You've earned your seat, delivered results, led teams through complexity. And now something is calling for a shift: a decision that won't resolve itself, a role that no longer fits the way it used to, or a transition that demands more than experience alone. You don't need another framework — you need space to think clearly.

Executives

The weight at the top

CEOs, managing directors, division heads. You hold strategy and cohesion together — but have few places to think out loud, without agenda or judgement.

Senior leaders

New role, new scale

Stepping into a bigger scope, a new organisation, a first C-suite position. The first 90 days set the lasting impression. Structuring your entry beats having to recover from it.

Entrepreneurs

From execution to leadership

Your company is growing faster than your capacity to lead it. Delegating, letting go, stepping into the role: the work has changed. Coaching helps you make that shift.

Background

Twenty years leading. Then the choice to serve.

For over twenty years, I held senior management positions — business unit director, head of controlling, marketing director, commercial director — at international corporations including Bosch, Siemens, and Avaya, across multiple countries. I know what it feels like to carry decisions that no one else sees, to manage teams through ambiguity, and to perform under pressure that doesn't switch off.

Then I made a deliberate shift. I began consulting and mentoring SMEs and start-ups — and discovered that my real vocation wasn't telling leaders what to do, but helping them find what they already knew. I trained in Co-Active coaching to the highest standards in the profession — those of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the only framework endorsed by Harvard Business School — and I'm now an ICF member and part of the Mentorday accelerator network.

Since then, I've guided more than 150 coaching journeys — from corporate executives at multinationals to first-time founders, and senior professionals navigating a pivotal moment in their career.

I work in English, French, German, and Spanish. In person across Europe — or online, wherever the work takes you.

Services

Three ways to work together.

Every engagement is fully bespoke. The framework, however, is clear: co-defined objectives, structured sessions, and an absolute commitment to confidentiality.

I.

Executive Coaching

One-on-one coaching for executives and senior leaders who need to clarify a decision, reclaim their presence, or navigate a high-stakes transition — merger, restructuring, new appointment, or a ceiling they can feel but can't name.

  • 8 to 12 sessions
  • Bi-weekly cadence
  • In person or online
  • Absolute confidentiality
II.

Entrepreneurial Mentoring

For founders and SME leaders who want an experienced perspective on their strategic choices, business model, and governance. A blend of coaching and real-world operational insight.

  • 6 to 10 sessions
  • Monthly cadence
  • Flexible format, shaped to your challenges
  • Access between sessions
III.

90-Day Programme

An intensive programme to structure a new appointment or a step-change in scope: first-week framing, 30/60/90-day plan, early decisions, early relationships.

  • 12 sessions over 3 months
  • Weekly cadence
  • Online available
  • Shared deliverables
My method

Co-Active coaching: working with the whole person.

"My role is not to give you answers. It's to give you back the space, the silence, and the right questions — so that yours can emerge."
I.

Absolute confidentiality

What is said in session stays in session. No reports to your organisation, no debriefs, no hidden agenda.

II.

Fully bespoke

No off-the-shelf templates. Every engagement is built with you, around your challenges and at your pace.

III.

Deep listening

A space where you can think out loud — including the things you don't say anywhere else.

IV.

Lasting performance

The goal isn't a spark — it's change that holds: clearer decisions, stronger presence, more grounded relationships.

How it works

What an engagement looks like.

A clear framework, from the very first conversation. You know exactly what you're committing to — and what you're not.

01

Discovery session

45 minutes, confidential, no commitment. We talk about what brings you here, and you leave with a clear read — whether or not we end up working together.

02

Scoping

If the fit is right, we co-define your objectives, the number of sessions, the cadence, and the format. The proposal is clear and transparent.

03

Engagement

Sessions run at the agreed cadence, 75 to 90 minutes each, in person or online. Between sessions, direct access by email remains available.

04

Closing

We take stock of the progress, name what has shifted, and you leave with an anchoring roadmap for the months ahead.

Like a GPS for my communication.

Coaching was like a navigation system for my communication skills — at work and at home. With Maikel's help, I broke through barriers I didn't even know existed. In the office, I get my ideas across more clearly and understand my colleagues better. At home, I handle conflict with more confidence. Thank you for the guidance — and for the laughter along the way.

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch.

What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching works on the present and the future: decisions, leadership presence, sustainable performance. Therapy works on the past and emotional suffering. If your needs fall into the latter, I'll refer you to a qualified professional — that's a core ethical principle of the ICF.

How many sessions should I expect?

A typical engagement runs 8 to 12 sessions, spaced two weeks apart. The 90-day programme is more intensive — 12 weekly sessions over three months. The duration is agreed together during scoping; nothing is imposed.

How does confidentiality work?

Rigorously and absolutely. What is said in session does not leave the session. If your organisation sponsors the engagement, a three-party framework is set from the start — shared objectives, strictly confidential content.

In person or online?

Both formats deliver excellent results. In-person sessions are available in Frankfurt, London, and Madrid depending on the period. Online sessions allow me to work with leaders across Europe and beyond — in English, French, German, or Spanish.

What is Co-Active coaching?

An approach recognised by the International Coach Federation that considers the whole person — not just objectives, but also values, balance, and meaning. It's a rigorous method, particularly suited to leaders who want lasting results, not cosmetic fixes.

What are the fees?

Fees are presented during the discovery session, based on the format and number of sessions chosen. The discovery session itself is without commitment and free of charge.
